OK, so maybe I wasn't cut out for this project. Obviously I didn't update it very much at all. And perhaps more obviously, I have had lots of beer since I decided to give it up. But, in my defense, the excuses are that a friend from Japan was in town (we had not seen each other in 2 years) and my older brother came to visit. Naturally we had to celebrate.
Anyway...
I think I might try again. With an obvious break during my birthday.

Maybe you should just try to cut it down to like a beer a week, rather than totally killing it completely?
I've lost a ton of weight, built up some muscle, and feel overall way healthier these days, but one thing I never gave up (I know how alcoholic this sounds, bear with me here) was the boozeahol.
That said, I admittedly never drank much and I now drink even less, but, it's all about being reasonable. I can go out and have a pint or two with friends every so often, as long as I balance it out, eat less that day in anticipation, exercise more that day and the next to make up for it, yadda yadda.
